Our work in India is a collaborative effort between the nonprofit Hosanna in the U.S. and the ngo Umed Ki Kiran in India. Hosanna exists primarily to care and encouragement to widows and abandoned women in India. Umed Ki Kiran provides social awareness programs and assistance with navigating government initiatives for the rural areas. The third member of the team is you. I am a firm believer in these elderly widows needing a hug, but we could do little more than that without the help of supporters who pray and give.
India being firmly planted in my heart actually began many years ago in 2002. The call to serve widows of India came in 2009. That was the seed that would become Hosanna. Then the partnership with Umed Ki Kiran would come in 2015.
Our mission is to show the love of Christ in words, deeds, and from our heart. We meet the needs of widows as we find them, always focusing on the individual. Everyone wants to be known and loved. That is a universal human need.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
